So, I watched a movie called “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” about a man who decided to start juicing for health. It inspired me to try it… I don’t have a juicer but have a blender. Soooooooo:
Got tomatoes, cucumber, kale, mixed greens, parsley and spinach
I used a base of V8 (spicy V8… it’s spicy)
So, in the end it wasn’t the worst, but it sure was grassy…
I have a coworker who blends such veggie smoothies every day. He puts in a lot of kale, spinach, and such, and his health has been improving measurably. Personally I’m more lazy and use powdered green drink mixes… but I’m sure the fresh vitamins and life force of those vegetables is going to be much more beneficial.
